OUR MOVEMENT

We are part of the youth-led movement that is igniting all over the world to fight for a livable future. We are also a part of the social, economic, and environmental justice movements of northern NM through our work with Earth Care as well as through our membership of other organizations and communities. We work intergenerationally, cross-culturally, and intersectionally. We align with all struggles for liberation across the world and actively work to combat all forms of oppression.

YUCCA (Youth United for Climate Action) is working as the on-the-ground, rooted manifestation of Sunrise Movement and the Climate Strike Movement led by our peer, Greta Thunberg.
